Marc Bennett

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Marc also serves on the Finance Committee of The Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and is a Financial Consultant to The British Contact Lens Association.

Marc believes in the maxim that clients always come first … except when his beloved Tottenham Hotspur football team are playing in which case it’s a close run thing. Outside of work, he’s a big fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm and trying to keep up with 7-a-side footballers half his age..

MARC JASON Founding Director

Marc qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994 and after reaching partner level in a medium sized accountancy practice decided to set up his own practise to better serve the needs of his clients and to provide niche services to owner managed businesses and individuals. Further to 2 years of rapid growth, he merged his business with AEL.

Seeing his clients succeed is a driver for Marc. He enjoys working with clients, and developing personal relationships with them. Outside of work, his passions are his family and 3 kids, playing and watching tennis and following a certain red London football team (do I have to write the A word?). He also a won a handwriting prize aged 7, which he is clearly still proud of today.

Nick Kaye

NIC KAYE Director

Nicholas qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 and joined AEL on it’s inception in 1982. He became a partner in 1987 and has devoted over 40 years to the practice and it’s clients.

Bournemouth born Nicholas enjoys the diversity at AEL Markhams and is passionate about helping clients develop their businesses. His life-long support for a little known South coast team from Bournemouth took on a new fervour on their promotion to the premiership, and for 5 seasons he was able to join in on football conversations in the office. Sadly, that has come to an end but his support continues. Known for his own sporting prowess, (he was U11 school sack race champion) outside of work he enjoys travel and spending time with his ever-growing family.

Howard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1974 and in 1976 set up his own practice in Hampstead. Over the years Howard has taken an active role in the North London Society of Chartered Accountants and the London Society of Chartered Accountants.

He is married with three married daughters and five grandchildren. Apart from his love for his family and various charitable interests he also enjoys supporting Chelsea.
