UPDATE – 5th September 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n The fifth SEISS grant – FINAL GRANT – DEADLINE 30th September 2021<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The final SEISS grant covering May 2021 to September 2021 is now open to claim. The amount of the fifth grant will be determined by how much your business turnover has been reduced.<\/p>\n The grant will be worth 80% of three months\u2019 average trading profits, capped at \u00a37,500, for those with a higher reduction in turnover (30% or more). For those with a lower reduction in turnover, of less than 30%, then the grant will be worth 30% of three months average trading profits.<\/p>\n HMRC will calculate how much you are eligible to claim, please ensure you have this year and last years turnover and profit figures to hand before claiming.<\/p>\n To Claim: https:\/\/www.tax.service.gov.uk\/self-employment-support\/only-claim-for-self<\/a><\/p>\n For more information before you claim: https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/claim-a-grant-through-the-coronavirus-covid-19-self-employment-income-support-scheme<\/a><\/p>\n UPDATE – 3rd March 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n The fourth SEISS grant<\/strong><\/p>\n The grant will be available to claim from late April 2021. As with previous grants, trading profits must be no more than \u00a350,000 and at least equal to non-trading income in order to claim the fourth SEISS grant.<\/p>\n Eligibility for the fourth SEISS grant will also depend on whether your business experienced a significant financial impact from coronavirus between February 2021 and April 2021.<\/p>\n The calculation takes into account the most recent 2019\/20 tax submission, so you may be eligible for more or less than previously granted.<\/p>\n The online claims service for the fourth grant will be live from late April<\/strong> to allow HMRC time to process recently submitted 2019-20 Self Assessment tax returns.<\/p>\n The latest this grant can be claimed for is the 31st May 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The fifth SEISS grant<\/strong><\/p>\n The UK Government has also announced that there will be a fifth and final SEISS grant covering May 2021 to September 2021. The amount of the fifth grant will be determined by how much your business turnover has been reduced.<\/p>\n The grant will be worth 80% of three months\u2019 average trading profits, capped at \u00a37,500, for those with a higher reduction in turnover (30% or more). For those with a lower reduction in turnover, of less than 30%, then the grant will be worth 30% of three months average trading profits.<\/p>\n You will be able to claim the fifth grant from late July 2021 if eligible<\/span>. Further details will be provided on the fifth grant in due course.<\/p>\n UPDATE – 26th January 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n The fourth SEISS grant<\/strong><\/p>\n Information about the fourth SEISS grant will be provided on 3\u200c\u200c\u200c \u200cMarch 2021.<\/p>\n UPDATE – 30th November 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n Applications are now open for the third SEISS grant <\/strong>to support self-employed people affected by coronavirus (COVID-19).<\/p>\n Who is eligible<\/strong><\/p>\n To make a claim for the third grant, customers must \u2013 as previously:<\/p>\n For this third SEISS grant customers must also now:<\/p>\n When deciding whether the reduction is significant, customers will need to consider their wider business circumstances.<\/p>\n HMRC expect claimants to make an honest assessment about whether they reasonably believe their trading profits will be significantly reduced compared to what they would otherwise expect to achieve during this period.<\/p>\n Your business must have been impacted on or after 1 November 2020. Customers must keep evidence that shows how their business has been impacted by coronavirus, resulting in reduced activity, capacity or demand, or a temporary inability to trade.<\/p>\n To make a claim, click here<\/a><\/p>\n UPDATE – 04th November 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n UPDATE – 23rd October 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n The Self-Employment Income Support Scheme Grant Extension provides critical support to the self-employed in the form of two grants, each available for three month periods covering November 2020 to January 2021 and February 2021 to April 2021.<\/p>\n The extension will last for six months, from November 2020 to April 2021. Grants will be paid in two lump sum instalments each covering a three-month period.<\/p>\n The Government are providing broadly the same level of support for the self-employed as is being provided for employees through the Job Support scheme.<\/p>\n The grants are taxable income and also subject to National Insurance contributions.<\/p>\n UPDATE – 24th September 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n Two additional grants under the Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) will be issued.<\/p>\n It will be available to current SEISS recipients who continue to face reduced demand due to coronavirus.<\/p>\n UPDATE – 17th August 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n The second grant of \u00a36,570 is now open to claim.<\/p>\n Deadline: 19th October 2020<\/p>\n To make a claim, click here<\/a><\/p>\n The same information is required as for the first claim. See details below<\/p>\n If you\u2019re eligible for the second and final grant, and your business has been adversely affected on or after 14 July 2020 you\u2019ll be able to make a claim in August 2020. You can claim for the second grant even if you did not make a claim for the first grant.<\/p>\n
